    MORMON LAKE LODGE

    Main Street
    Mormon Lake, AZ 86038
    928-354-2227

    Visit Website   |  Email Us

Mormon Lake Lodge situated in the tall pine country of Northern Arizona is just 30 minutes south of Flagstaff and 2 1/2 hours north of Phoenix. The quaint Western ambiance of this remote 280-acre retreat is the perfect backdrop for an intimate gathering of family and friends - or a conducive, out-of-the ordinary setting for a corporate team building encounter.

There's everything you'd expect to find in the Old West: cowboys, wide open spaces, buffalo, and even horseback riding and gold panning in the warm (summer) months. The Lodge's famed Steakhouse has been serving up savory open-pit mesquite grilled beef, chicken and fish entrees since 1924. Guests also enjoy the entertainment and camaraderie of the Lodge's 1880's-style Saloon year-round.

Whether you're a bona fide city slicker yearning for a taste of the "old west" or a full time buckaroo just needing some time away from the Ranch, Mormon Lake Lodge is an ideal hideaway.

    The Ride of Another Lifetime

For history, one would be hard pressed to compete with the five million year old Grand Canyon, but at Grand Canyon Railway, we try our best. Each train engine, both steam and diesel, and each train car, from Coach to First Class, has been painstakingly restored to its original state by a staff of mechanics who see their work as more a labor of love than a job. During the train tour, your crew is no less enthusiastic. Each is bursting with local and Grand Canyon folklore and history, as well as Grand Canyon Railway knowledge. Strolling musicians catch you up with what was hot way back when. And there's even fun recreations of an old fashioned shoot out and a train robbery. In other words, we take you to the Grand Canyon. And back.

Departing daily at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Standard time from Williams Depot for the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.
